Cookie Notice
Scope: this Cookie Notice applies to visitors of meetresult.app from the EU/EEA, the UK, and other jurisdictions with similar cookie-consent requirements (ePrivacy Directive, UK PECR and equivalents).
1. What we use today
meetresult.app itself does not set any server-side cookies. We use browser local storage (a similar technology covered by the same consent rules) for two strictly necessary purposes:
- Theme preference (
mr-theme) — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. - Cookie-notice choice (
mr-cookie-consent) — remembers that you've seen this notice and what you chose, so we don't ask again on every visit.
Both are strictly necessary for the site to work as expected, fall under the strictly-necessary exemption, contain no personal data, and are never sent to a server.
Offline app mode. The site can open without an internet connection, like an installed
app. To do this, your browser registers a technical script (a service worker) and stores,
ahead of time, in a separate browser storage area (Cache Storage, distinct from local
storage), the app shell files — HTML/CSS/JS and icons — and an "you're offline" page, so the site
can open without a network connection. This caching explicitly excludes: your account data,
meeting history, shared meeting and clip pages, and the operator console (paths
/api/, /auth/, /s/, /m/, /admin),
and any server response that asks not to be cached (Cache-Control: no-store). Your
meeting content never ends up in this cache. When a new version of the site is deployed, outdated
cache entries are deleted automatically. This storage is strictly necessary for offline
mode to work, contains no personal data, and is never sent to a server.
One further entry (mr-attr, kept separately from your consent choice) may be stored
only if you consent to analytics — see §2.
2. Analytics and how you found us — only with your consent
meetresult.app may use Google Analytics (a Google tag) to
understand how the site is used — pages visited, referrers, approximate location and device type.
Google Analytics sets its own cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) and is loaded
only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner; choosing "Necessary only" keeps it disabled.
You can change your choice at any time — see §4 below. Google acts as our sub-processor for this
data; see Google's privacy policy for how it
handles the information.
In addition to the browser (cookie-based) Google Analytics above, meetresult may also send de-identified funnel events (such as start, consent, meeting completed, task export and purchase) to Google Analytics server-side — only if you have accepted analytics. This server-side measurement writes no additional cookies or identifiers to your device, uses a pseudonymous client identifier only, and does not transmit your IP address. It is covered by the same analytics consent and can be turned off in the same way (see §4 below).
How you found us (acquisition source). If you accept analytics, and where we have enabled
this measurement, we also record how you reached the site and keep it in your browser's local
storage under mr-attr: the campaign parameters of the link you arrived on
(utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign,
utm_content, utm_term), the advertising click identifier
(gclid), the domain that referred you (hostname only — never the full referring
URL) and the path of the landing page you opened (never its query string). This entry
expires after 90 days in your browser and is sent to us only when you create an account, so
that we can attribute the sign-up to the campaign that brought you. On our side the advertising
click identifier is deleted 90 days after it was recorded and the remaining parameters after
24 months; see the Privacy Policy for the full description, the legal
basis and your rights. These values are never shared with advertising networks or uploaded to any
advertising platform.
If you choose "Necessary only", nothing of this is stored: before a positive choice these values exist only in the memory of the open page and are never written to your device or sent to us. If you accepted earlier and then switch to "Necessary only" (or withdraw your analytics consent in your account), the stored entry is deleted — in your browser and on our side.
2a. Advertising measurement (Google Ads) — only with your consent
We run search advertising on Google. If you reach the site from one of our ads and you
click "Accept", Google's tag receives the advertising measurement signals for that click:
the click identifier (gclid) in the link you arrived on and Google's own
_gcl_* cookies, which let Google report that the click led to a sign-up. This is
measurement only: we do not build advertising audiences, we do not run
remarketing, and the personalised-advertising signal is kept switched off at all times. Until you
choose, all Google storage is declared denied and nothing is written to your device;
"Necessary only" keeps it that way, and if you accepted earlier and change your mind, the
withdrawal is passed to Google as well (see §4 below). How long the same parameters are kept on
our own side is described in §2 above. Apart from the analytics and acquisition measurement in §2
and the advertising measurement described here, we use no other third-party tracking cookies.
3. The Telegram bot and mini app
Inside Telegram, the bot and mini app do not use browser cookies; access is authenticated via Telegram's own initData mechanism.
4. Managing your choice
Use the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer to change your choice at any time, or
clear your browser's local storage for this site. Switching to "Necessary only" stops the
analytics described in §2 and the advertising measurement described in §2a — we immediately signal
the withdrawal to Google's tag, so analytics and advertising storage are switched back off for the
rest of your visit and are not used again on later visits — and deletes the acquisition-source entry
(mr-attr) from your browser; withdrawing analytics consent in your account additionally
erases the campaign parameters, the advertising click identifier, the referring domain and the
landing path stored on our side.
